The Eastside Neighbors Volunteer Program, inc (ENVP) is an Arizona non profit corporation serving the east and southeast areas of Tucson. It is a member of “The Neighbors Care Alliance” under the direction of “Pima Counil on Aging” (PCOA)
ENVP is supported and funded by grants, donations and contributions by participating neighborhood organizations, faith communities, private businesses and individuals. All donations are tax deductable.

Mission
Envp’s mission is to allow senior citizens to remain in their homes and live independently with dignity for as long as possible.
Services
Envp accomplishes its mission through a group of more than 100 trained volunteers offering the following services:
- Transportation to medical appointments and necessary grocery shopping
- Light housecleaning
- Home assessments (structure, energy efficiency, safety)
- Minor home repairs
- Meal preparation
- Assistance with reading, bill paying, etc
- Friendly visits and phone calls
- Volunteering at affiliated daycare and preschool sites

Staff
The eastside neighbors volunteer group, inc c-corporation has as president Alex Dely and as secretary/treasurer John Miller.
From an operational standpoint, ENVP is led by its board of directors which in 2006-2007 is chaired by Paul Marsh (president of the Kenyon Millett group), and has representatives from several of the stakeholder congregations and neighborhood associations, and with john miller and PCOA’s Leslie Hunten as ex-officio members. Envp also has an advisory board which consists of a local coordinator from each of the constituencies.

Funding
Envp has received major funding in 2004 and 2005 from the united way of Tucson as part of the compassion grant initiative of the federal government’s office of faith based initiatives. Funding has also been provided by twenty-second street Baptist church, Immanuel Presbyterian church, New Spirit Luthern church and Saguaro Christian church, on whose complex the ENVP office is also located.
